Fay's Meat with potatoes casserole



What we need:

1.5kg pork spoon (you can also put any meat of your choice provided it is cut into pieces).

Potatoes (cut into cubes).

1 large onion

Garlic 

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 chicken bouillon cubes

Oil

Salt

Pepper

 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

1/2 tsp of Allspice 

Yogurt (optional) for serving 


Method: 

1) Salt and pepper potatoes and meat rub meat with a little flour this will help the gravy to set. 

2) In the hot oil first fry the potatoes until almost done.

3) Remove the potatoes and fry the meat until almost done

4) Meanwhile grate the onion and prepare the remaining ingredients 

5) After you finish frying the meat, remove a little oil and saute the onion and garlic with 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.

6) add the meat and potatoes and stir and all spices and chicken stock 

 7) Fill the pot with our water to cover the meat and potatoes 

8) We cover food and let it cook for about 40 minutes. Meanwhile check if need more salt and pepper.


When serving you can put a little yogurt on the edge of the dish. It goes well in this dish.
